Throughout the duration of Chick Days, Walden Farm & Ranch Supply will have information available to offer advice and guidance on how to raise chickens from freshly hatched chicks through laying. “We have a knowledgeable staff that can offer advice at all levels of egg production. Whether helping a beginning chick farmer, or someone who has raised poultry for years,” says Larry Walden.

“Raising poultry to sustain a family’s food supply is something that dates back to the beginning of time. We love helping children and adults alike, embark on that adventure,” added Walden. “Chick Days are designed to educate people on how easy it is to raise their own chickens. There’s a sense of pride and self-sufficiency in raising your own food. Children learn responsibility and make a worthwhile contribution to the household by caring for the flock.”
